Harlequin Sweetlips - Small ()

The Harlequin Sweetlips is one of the larger species within the Marine Aquarium hobby. Growing at a blazing pace, the brown with white spotted juvenile emerges as a white with black spotted adult. This species is recommended only for larger aquariums due to their adult size upwards of three feet. Strictly a carnivore, the Harlequin Sweetlips should not be housed with small crustaceans, snails, or serpent stars due to the fish's propensity to consume them.
